The one honest catch (read this before you buy)
This collar runs on satellite GPS — that's why there are no wires to bury, no base station, and no WiFi to configure. But satellites need open sky, and that comes with real limits.
It will not work indoors, in a garage, or under a solid roof, and accuracy can dip under very heavy tree cover. This is an outdoor containment collar, period. When your dog comes inside for the night, take it off.
If the space you're trying to contain is covered — a roofed dog run, a barn — this isn't the right tool for it. For an open yard, it's exactly the right one.

Yes — it's built for dogs 10 to 200 lbs with neck sizes 6 to 35 inches, any breed, any coat. Two prong sets come in the box (one for short hair, one for long hair). And stubborn is what it's for — read Dan's review above about his 90-pound German Shepherd.
How does it actually stop my dog?
You set an invisible boundary — anywhere from 33 to 999 yards from the center point. When your dog approaches the line, the collar beeps as a warning. If he keeps going, it vibrates. Only if he pushes past that does he feel a static correction (adjustable, levels 0–9) — and it stops the moment he turns back. Most dogs learn the boundary within their first week.
Is it hard to set up?
About 5 minutes, right on the collar's built-in screen — some owners take ten the first time, like Greg above. Stand where you want the center of the safe zone, set your boundary size, done. No app required, no WiFi, no base station, no wires in the ground. The box also includes boundary training markers so your dog can see where the line is while he learns.
Is there a subscription or monthly fee?
